Speed Mathematics

I have been reading a book recently about how to calculate fast!! The title of the book is The Trachtenberg Speed System of Basic Mathematics.

It's real fun and cool. Methods to do speed multiplications are taught. Adding a long list of numbers, multiplying by multiple digit like 1646461314 x 46146749. If you master the methods, you can easily get the answer without showing any workings in less than a minute. Of course, I'm new and no expert, so, it takes me definitely more than a minute to get the answer! Haha..

Here's a little bit from the book. How to multiply any number by 11? It's the first trick taught in the book and it's one of the easiest. Anyone who knows how to add, can do it! Yes, so we are saying our children who are maybe 7 years old, knows how to add single digits, can get this answer correct.

Example 34261 x 11 = 376871. The answer can be gotten in less than half a minute.

HOW?!? Let's work it step by step from left to right of 34261.

Step 1: Write 1, under the 1 of 34261.
Like this;

Step 2: Write 7 under the digit 6. This is gotten by adding 6 and 1. (6+1 = 7)

Step 3: Write 8 under the digit 2. This is from 2+6=8
Like this:

Step 4: Write 6 under the digit 4. This is from 4+2=6
Like this:

Step 5: Write 7 under the digit 3. This is from 3+4=7

Step 6: Finally, write 3, in front of 7. This is from 0+3=3.

376871 << Answer. Check with your calculator.

And also try out other numbers... Longer numbers.. You are better than the calculator now, coz some calculators can only do up to 12 digits. You can do up to .... infinite number of digits. :D Like 31464631647964131646413136469463164794849496416494794161646 x 11. So, even if it is like 1 metre long, you won't have a problem getting the correct answer.

Have fun and you can try getting this book!! More fun stuff in it. I'm trying to remember all the rules. Not sure why I'm reading it...though I'm not a mathematics teacher. And definitely not taking any Mathematics examination in the near future. Maybe one day I can start teaching my nieces and nephews the tricks in this book!! And they'll definitely be more interested in Mathematics.

Mineral Make Up

Took this photo last night after I received my most recent order from Everyday Minerals.

Looks like I have stocked up quite a bit. And the most used ones are the base powders which I ordered 4 jars recently. All others like eye colour, concealers, colour correcters are seldom use. One reason, I'm always in a rush in the morning. And I'm not really good with colours. :)

Next time I'll take a photo of all the brushes I have. EDM have really good brushes and are reasonably priced.

The black jars are eye colours from Lumiere. All others are from Everyday Minerals.

Sleepy Afternoon

So sian today... suddenly feel like dropping by here.

Do you have answers to these questions? At my age (old), I still don't have answers.

1) What are your aspirations?
2) What is your ambition?
3) What would you like to be doing if you have a million dollars? (can't think of any meaningful things yet, since I don't have the million... erm.. I mean if we have a million dollars, we should be doing something meaningful for the world, right? Kind of to make our world more meaningful, since it probably isn't meaningful enough at this point of time.. :D A bit crappy, I know!)
4) What would you love to do for a living?

Let's update that list......slowly.. Hehe.. See ya again. Maybe I'll drop by soon... I hope. :D

Also, I went to Taiwan 5-10 Nov 2011. Will I ever make a post on it? I can't really trust myself... (to work on it). We'll see.

Mr Big S' Dance Performance

Mr Big S went for a dance performance today. Here's the video. Taken with my lao pok iPhone 3GS, plus poor skills, the video quality can only be this 'good'.

When the dance started, I thought I had started filming, only to realise half way through that I didn't press the 'record' button!!!! Gosh... Luckily I still managed to catch some part of the dance.

Asking for a Loan - Guidelines

Why will I write such a post? Because someone just tried to ask for a loan. I think you just can't be too nice to some people, as this will become an opportunity for them to ask for a loan. And hate it hate it hate it!!!

And especially when it's not asked in a nice tone of voice. Hey you!! You are asking for a loan... not demanding a repayment!

Please use the following guidelines when asking for a loan in future. However, it does not guarantee a success. It is basic courtesy to ask nicely..... coz you are asking someone for a F.A.V.O.U.R.!

Step 1: Smile :) If you can't smile, please try to put on a fake one even if you have to.

Step 2: Be apologetic (this is important) and say.. Erm.. I really need your help. Can you lend me $20? (or whatever amount you need)

Step 3: Quickly also say... I'll repay you by [date]. (My preferred date of repayment is - 'first thing in the morning tomorrow'. But if you can't, please tell me a date that is A.S.A.P. Do not..DO NOT wait to be asked 'when will you return this money to me?' Tell me the date before I ask that question. And make sure the date is not too far away.)

Step 4: I'll be nagging and saying things you don't like to hear, like wah lau.. I need to take taxi in the morning tomorrow.. now you take my $20 then I have to go to the ATM to draw.. etc. You can say 'sorry, it won't happen again in future'. Please do not say.... I'll be returning you the money in 3 days what.... Did you understand what I said? I have to take taxi in the morning TOMORROW! It's not 3 days later.
So, at this point, if you have nothing better to say please S.T.F.U.

Step 5: And don't forget to say 'Thank You'. And reassure me again that they money will be returned to me by [date].

Step 6: Make sure you return the $$ by [date]. Else you can be assured that the whole world will know about it. Although most of the time before the money is returned, the whole world would have known about it already. Usually I'll tell the people that I tell ....'I tell you something, but you pretend you don't know, ok?'

Step 7: Due Date: Please return money. Do not wait for me to call or ask. Because I always want to be the Ms Nice even if I'm faking it! I won't be nice if I don't see the $$. Please read Step 6 again for the consequences.

CNY Dinner

I had our last CNY Lo Hei Dinner on 17 Feb 2011. That is also the 15th day of CNY, more commonly known as Chap Gor Mey or Yuan Xiao Jie - the Chinese Valentines' Day.

It was a small gathering with Lynne, Cris and Lie. Therefore, we only ordered a few dishes. But it was enough to fill up our stomachs. Ok... I'll upload the pictures shortly. :D

Skin Care!

Dunno is it because I feel stressed as I'm growing older? I've been looking around to try new skin care products and also want to start using body lotion. In the last 2 months, I would say I had spent more than what I usually spend in 2 years on buying new products. Hehe... That's a bit exaggerating, but you know what I mean?

I stumbled upon a brand in Takashimaya around X'mas and bought $200+ of products which only consisted of a Day Cream and a bottle of Shea Butter lotion. Thinking that it were really good products since the sales person was so knowledgeable about essential oils. They sell essential oils too. And told me how good how pure their oils were. I don't doubt what she said. I've read and tried using essential oils on the past and that did caught my attention. So, I bought her products.

When I reached home, I read the ingredients list of the creams and found 'Sodium Benzoate' in it. I do not know much about natural ingredients, but one thing I know, I do not want Sodium Benzoate in my products. Sobs. So far the skin cream was good, I'm going to use it up and will not buy again. I want natural products on my skin. No preservatives like Sodium Benzoate. So, looks like I can only buy their pure essential oil and not their creams.

Side track a bit, do you know Sodium Benzoate is present in the soft drinks that we drink? It's a controlled preservative and can only be used in minute amounts. Google about it and you'll know. So.... I drink soft drinks and I slab cream in my face and body that contains this ingredient. Slowly and unknowingly I'd have consumed more and more and more of this.

Hehe.... So now I consciously check out the ingredients first before buying. Hmmm.. But I'll have to do a lot more reading as am not familiar with what are other harmful products that I should avoid.

And then, hehehe... I ordered a set of products again this week. It's got 100% pure ingredients, and certified organic. Quite cool, and the price is very reasonable. I used it since last night. Smelt good and feel good. Since most ingredients are derived from fruits, and I bought the grape series, I smell like a big grape now. It reminds me of those Korean grapes that my friends bought for me last year. If your have nit tried it before I urge you to buy and try when the grapes are in season. They should be available around October, and they smell just like those grape flavour gummy bears! Hmmm.. So now I smell like a gummy bear. Hahaha.

Here's a blur picture of the new products I bought this week. I'll tell more about the experience after using it fir a longer period of time - if I'm not lazy. Hehe..

Oh ya.. I also applied the body lotion on one leg only. Haha.. Will see if there's any difference later in the evening.

Spring Cleaning

Chinese New Year is round the corner again. And I start to thing of things I've to do. Soooo many things to do but ended up doing nothing.

Last week, I had my brother's domestic helper to help me clean my house. She did a really good job. Hoho... I'm going to get her to come every Sunday to help out. It feels good to have a house that's so dust-free, but I seriously can't do it without a helper. Looks like I'll not be a good housewife. Hahahaha...

We gave her some money for helping out. But cute little girl said she doesn't want the money. She said, nvm I just help la. We insisted she keep the money and buy herself something or send it back home. ^^

Copycat

I've been lazy with posting anything lately, as am sorting out some stuff!! Spring cleaning!!!!

Facebook games has been removed, and no more Facebook games for me now. It was such a waste of time playing all these Farmville, Restaurant City, etc. The bulk of the time was used to 'accept gifts' instead of actually playing the game.

Anyway, today, the topic is on Copycats!!!

Can't believe there are such people around. There is this Marketing Department girl in the other company that my boss has a share in. She suddenly asked me today where I got the machine to wrap and package my company brochures that we present it to our clients.

So, I asked her... oh.. what you need it for? You want to package food?

She said no, she wanted to get that for some marketing event. Looks like she wants to use the same packaging idea we have for her marketing materials. Kanasai. Think of your own presentation idea la... instead of copying from other people.

And still ask me where to get. Of course I'm not going to tell you. Go source for it yourself. Blehhhh.....

Slowly source hor..... coz it's not easy to find... also not difficult to find la. :) Just need to spend some time looking for one and selecting it.

A new to-do for my to-do list.

Compile Shelly's photographs and update the blog dedicated to her. ...ermm.. though we did have a lot. :)

For those who doesn't know yet, Shelly is (was?) a cat. She had been with us for like about 19-20 years, and left us on 8.7.2006.

In her final years, she suffered bone cancer, she endured the pain and didn't complain. During the final half year, she probably had cat dementia as well. But she was happy.

Let's leave the other story-telling for the Shelly website. :D

This is one of the pictures we took in 2006, few months before she left. She still look good! And we had one framed up nicely, hanging on our wall. Just like those other people hang their Ah Gong and Ah Mah photo on their wall. We hang our Shelly. Meow...

Patapon 2 - The Grey Rainbow, and the Other Face

This is the final boss that is revealed by the Grey Rainbow that dropped by the Dettankarmen when it is around level 3.

They look the same but this one has more attacks. Dodge when necessary and breaking fever is ok as it saves your life.

When it try to use it's lower jaw to 'scoop' your patapons, jumping is a better way than retreat to avoid.

When it's defeated, it drops the Zuttankarmen Egg Lv 1.

We are done!!! Waiting for Patapon 3.

Now, I'm going back to play Patapon 1, get lots of materials and equipment and load into Patapon 2. :)

Patapon 2 - The Downfall of the Patapons

Let's go let's go!!

This seems to the the last stage already.

It's boss fight again. It's like the last boss of Patapon 1. It changes form!! Sometimes it's like an animal (4 legs). Then it changes to another form standing on 2 legs.

Be careful of it's attacks! Some are deadly!!! One of the ways to avoid the patapon being picked up, is to break fever and start the retreat song.

Let's go! And be careful.

After it is defeated it drops the Dettankarmen Egg Lv 1.

Patapon 2 - Fighting the Living Fortress

This stage is originally hidden. It can be revealed by obtaining the Soft Lithograph from the previous stage.

The boss in this stage is similar to one that we had fought previously. Let's go.

It's drops lots of alloy and the Ganodias Egg Lv 1.

Going for this stage again! At around Lv 3, it'll drop the Earthquake Miracle.

Patapon 2 - Black Hoshipon Eternal

According to the guide, we just need to use brute force for this stage.

The tank we are going to fight is called Zugagan.

After it's defeated, the black star will run away.

Let's go fight Zugagang again for the Underworld Egg Lv 1. But the stage kind of disappeared in my game. I went back to fight the alloy boss and when I come back, it's there again. Just in front of the 'Once Upon A Time' stage.

At around Lv 3, the tank will also drop a Soft Lithograph that will reveal a boss stage.

Let's carry on with this stage for the time being.

Patapon 2 - The Underworld's Newest Weapon

Patapon 2 - A Promise?! Meden's Capture!!

Now it's time to save Meden. Remember to bring the Rain Miracle.

In Patapon 1, we were not suppose to bring weapons that will set fire to the cart that has Meden in it. Fire will burn and kill Meden. Not sure whether it's the case here. I'll give it a try. Hehehe.. And see if Meden screams lime in Patapon 1.

Ok! Confirm no fire or thunder weapons that will burn things. Meden will be burnt to death before we can save her.

Patapon 2 - Terrible Fang at Guguchoppa Ruins

We are still not going to care about Meden's call for help!

Let's go to this stage for a boss fight. This boss is the one that looks like a giant crab.

Also in this stage we'll learn the 'wake up' song. That's what I'd like to call it. Pata Pon Don Chaka. It'll wake your patapons up is they are sleepy.

This stage will drop the Ciokina Egg Lv 1.

Next, we'll have to carry in with this dreadful stage until around Level 5 when the boss will drop Cioking Egg Lv 5.

It's not that easy to fight till lv 5 with my army. I tried many failed missions and finally, I used the following to go through it.

Army: Tatepon Hero, Tatepons, Yaripons, Mahopons.

The main purpose for the tatepons is to keep Ciokinna away from our flag.

When it try to spray sleeping fluid, u can start the wake up song so that your army won't fall asleep. After that look carefully and either use the jump or run or defend function.

Jump: when it bend down to catch your patapons

Run: when it's ready to slice you or blow deadly bubble at you.

Defend: if you think you cannot run fast enough when it's going to slice you.

Hope this works. Also, bring stews!!!

Patapon 2 - Parabola of Hope Lv 2

After we finished the previous stage, when we go back to Patapolis, Meden was missing.

When we go back in to Obelik, the stage Meden is Captured appears in front of our eyes. Let's not bother about Meden yet. We should do this Parabola of Hope Lv 2.

This round we'll still go with our catapult, but there won't be additional help from anyone like the last stage.

We'll get the Karmen Gate Egg Lv 1.

It's a really tough stage, I'm still trying!! I think I'll have to upgrade my army a bit more for now.

Will post my army photo when I succeed in this.

Maybe my army was not stri g enough. Anyway this was what I did. I start tailwind whenever one wave of enemy has been defeated just to make sure no arrows hit my catapult.

Just before the big tower, I stay far away and keep using tailwind after I finish one wave of enemies. There is not enough time to make tailwind if you have enemies attacking you. Have fun and be very patient. As you can see, this is a very long stage.

Patapon 2 - Parabola of Hope

In this stage, we get to bring the catapult along and USE IT!!

Bring the Tailwind Miracle and use it throughout the stage. Thus will help prevent some damage to the catapult by the enemy's arrows and spears.

We'll get an Unopenable Scroll in this stage. Make sure you get it as it reveals yet another boss stage.

Patapon 2 - Defenders of Kunekunel

We should clear thus stage first before moving on.

This is a boss fight stage. The boss is the bigger cousin of Zaknel. It is the one that looks like the giant snake.

When it's defeated, it drops the Dokaknel Egg Lv 1.

At around Level 3, it'll also drop the Storm Miracle. So, be prepared to get it.

Patapon 2 - Hukmen the Staffbearer

This stage is similar to the previous again! Arghhh.. Looks like these 3 stages are the 3 Generals in the earlier stage.

In this stage, just use force and keep fighting keep moving forward.

We'll get the hidden map for a boss and then the Storm Miracle.

Patapon 2 - Nomen the Shieldbearer

Remember we obtained the catapult in the previous stage?

Now we are going the 'deliver' it. Meden will be going with us and we won't be able rouse the catapult in this stage.

Just make sure you fight and kill quickly what comes in your way and make sure the catapult won't be crashed.

Patapon 2 - Recovering the Zigoton Catapult

Now we are suppose to go get the catapult back.

Have you been following? If you haven't, you might miss out certain things.

While taking the catapult back from the enemy, be careful not to destroy the catapult or your mission will fail.

The guide says to bring along the tailwind miracle so that the enemies cannot deal so much damage on the catapult.

Patapon 2 - Great Despair

This stage is important for you to do this. Quit the game upon entering the stage. Do not complete it. If you want to give it a try, go ahead. Just don't complete the stage.

When you return to Patapolis, Meden will tell you the story.

Then when you go back into Obelik, you'll be brought to a stage called 'Recovering the Zigoton Catapult'.

Patapon 2 - Big Battle at Ekkora Oasis Lv 2

Patapon 2 - Raging Jungle Guardian

Let's go! This stage is a boss stage.

The boss is a giant plant that jumps a lot. I'm going to use the jump command to avoid it too.

Here's how it looks like. And it'll catch your patapons and eat them up. Be sure to run away before it's too late.

It will drop the Shookle Egg Lv 1 after it's defeated.

After this, go clear this stage until around Lv 5 and the boss will drop another egg. Be sure to get this, then you can go to Paraget to get more seeds. Seeds can help level up our Mahapons. I love them. They are mini magicians.

Patapon 2 - Masked Country and Three Generals

It was an easy win in the previous stage. Let's move on.

For this stage, you need to march slowly forward when you start. Do not go into fever mode or your enemies will 'discover' you. You can try for fun to see what happens if they discover you.

Let's say you have not been discovered, stay near where the tower is and you'll see the Karmens talking.

You can start attacking them after they finish talking.

Don't worry about the masked thing that keep throwing fire balls at you. Just keep going forward and you'll soon reach the end if the stage. There's no need to defeat the masked guy.

Patapon 2 - Battle at Ekkora Oasis

For thus stage, we'll need to bring the Tailwind Miracle that we obtain from the previous.

Activate the miracle as soon as you feel that there is strong wind blowing at you and affecting your arrows and spears! This is because there is a giant windmill blowing wind at your direction.

Other than that, this stage is not that tough.

Time taken: I've forgotten to record. It was quite fast. Maybe 3-4 min. And got lots of weapons too.

Patapon 2 - The Mystery of Smokestorms in the Desert

Let's move towards our left a bit and we'll find this stage.

We can get the Tailwind Miracle in this stage. Remember to bring the Rain Miracle as there is a hot path to walk. It's also good to use rain to wash off the sand to see clearer.

Patapon 2 - Beast of the Korakan Desert

This stage, we are going to face a boss again.

This one looks like a giant snake. Some of it's attacks are rather lethal. One of which is it slams it's head onto our patapons. Another one is when it lies on the ground. You better start running away or jump up as it's going to 'wriggle'. It's not a soft wriggle. More like kids throwing their tantrums.

I find that the best way to avoid it's attacks is to use the jump command.

After it's defeated, it drops Zaknel Egg Lv 1.

Patapon 2 - Crossing the Korakan Desert

This stage, we need to cross the desert.

Bring along the rain miracle and everything should be fine. Try to kill more of the preys and get some special items.

I started the rain miracle at the beginning. Before we reach the desert, the signboard will warn us. So, be sure to start rain miracle here again. You might need to do 2 times of rain miracle, so keep track of the balance time and start one before it's too late.

Patapon 2 - Undying Bird at Melala Volcano

Actually this stage appear right after we complete the Goruru boss, although I decided to play until Level 5 for the Garuru Egg.

Let's go for this big bird. It looks like it's on fire. But actually, it's not that difficult to kill. It drops a lot of bones and the Fenicchi Egg Lv 1.

According to the guide I'm reading, this bird drops the Gashapon Cap around Level 3. This will unlock the chef minigame!! Let's go for it without waiting too much. Chef minigame gives out stews which will make your army STRONG!!!

You can see that my army is still very basic. :) Though I've already made one of the Tree Yumipons Level 10.

Patapon 2 - Underworld Servant Garuru Lv 2

After defeating Goruru, the stage turns into Lv 2. We have to carry on the fight until around Level 5 and will be able to get the Garuru Egg Lv 1.

I'll be using the same army as before.

For the later stages, I used the Toripon Hero, Yaripons, Megapons and Yumipons. To make the army stronger, I use the minigame unlocked by the next level and made some stews. Stews are really good and they make the army strong. :)

Patapon 2 - Evil at the World Core

After we clear the tough guy in the previous stage, next stage is going to be a boss fight.

This boss looks like the last boss in Patapon 1. This is a higher level one. Have fun!

We'll learn the Jump song at the beginning. Be careful as this boss has an attack that is like a big laser. Jump fast or you'll be toasted in no time.

After the boss is defeated, it'll drop the Goruru Egg Lv 1.

Patapon 2 - At Ground Zero

This is a very tough stage. I tried many times before succeeding.

The main tough is this beetle head. It's hammer can kill with 1 blow.

I brought in the strong strong guy to take care of him.

In order to 'handle' him, we gotta use the dodge command. Pon Pata Pon Pata.

When beetle head start laughing or every time he says 'Let's Go Let's Go...', you'll have to start your dodge command and dodge it for 3 times, before attacking again.

Patapon 2 - Memories Opened by the Underworld Gate

Patapon 2 - Primordial Fangs in Manbo Ruins

This stage is the one being revealed by the Black Star.

The boss is like the giant mammoth.

At the start of the stage, we learn the Charge song. Pon Pon Chaka Chaka.

After we defeat the boss, we get Mamboross Egg Lv 1.

This is a very easy stage.

Upon going into the stage, there is a tower. Hoshipon will be released once we bring down the tower.

The Hoshipon in the stage will drop a Black Star and it'll reveal a hidden boss stage beside the Manboth stage.

Remember to stop your commands when the star is talking. If not, it'll run away without giving you the black star.

I thought it will have the golden mochichi like the stage in Patapon 1. Haha.. So, I didn't bring any Tatepons.

The whole stage is full of ice caves and snow. Very cold. Brrrr...

Patapon 2 - Awakening in Neogaeen Ruins

This is the stage is reveal after getting the Unopenable Box is the previous stage.

We are going to fight the Dogaeen Boss. It looks like a big robot.

I've leveled up one of my Tree Yumipon to Lv 10! Yippee.. Let's go.

We'll learn the dodge song here. Also be careful of one of the boss' attack. He will slam his whole body on the ground and will kill many patapons at one go. Be prepared to DODGE!

Get the Gaeen Egg Lv 1 after defeating the boss.

After that, we'll have to carry on until Lv 5 and the boss will drop the Dogaeen Egg Lv 1.

Patapon 2 - Lost Sheet at Bryun Snowfield

I seem to have played this stage before... Errrmmm.. Maybe I replayed too many times until I've forgotten.

Anyway, this is a hunting stage. We gotta kill a miniboss that looks like a lamb. It'll drop the 'Unopenable box' that will reveal hidden stages later.

It's quite an easy stage, and easy to clear.

Patapon 2 - Two Karmens

No bosses in this stage. Just fight. And you'll get the Blizzard Miracle at the end.

There's a lot of snow that freezes my patapons and very strong wind.

The rain miracle will change the snow into rain and thus less freezing. As the wind is strong, I'm bringing my Tatepons to help knock down the fortresses.

After you knock down the ice castle, there'll be this this shoot spears at you from the sky. Ignore it and march forward. I wastes a good few minutes fighting it to find out I could have just march forward and complete the game.

Patapon 2 - Sky Castle of the Gods

Someone called me when I was typing this half way in my iPhone. Now I gotta retype!!

Ok, so for this stage we had to go fight this monster with an eye. It doesn't move.

What I did was just attack all the way. It finished pretty fast and it drops the Yakpon Cap which unlocks the Dancing Minigame. Use this minigame to earn kachings and give away extra materials.

Patapon 2 - Pharamatara, Defender of the Sky

I've decided to try out my Megapons on this boss.

It's got a finger that 'dua' you away. Haha.. So make sure Hero Tatepon is there to protect.

After the boss is defeated, it will drop the Pharamatara Egg Lv 1.

Some of the Karmens also drop Thunder weapons. If you didn't get any, you might want to replay this stage.

I replayed the stage (Lv 1) a few times, and gotten Thunder Spear, Thunder Helm and Thunder Bow. Finally, I decided to save the one with the Thunder Bow. I'm not sure if my decision is the best one, but I like my Yumipons to be powerful.

Ok, I managed to create my Megapon army, but am not going to use it yet.

Let's go get some weapons from this stage. According to the guide, this stage drops some steel weapons. Time to do a little bit of 'upgrade'? Haha..

Patapon 2 - Paraget

Good Morning!! Have you been playing?

I've been busy playing and updating here that I even dreamt of Patapon last night!

Dreamt that I'd news to introduce to you what the Paraget is all about.

It is the little 'cave' at the extreme right end of Patapolis.

It's where the Heros fight the bosses and level up the eggs.

At the end of every fight, the is like a minigame. Play it well and you'll be rewarded with more kaching. I seldom play it.

Will come and play when I've the need to level up my Hero.

What I want to do today is to play the vegetable minigame and get materials for making Megapons. I love their damage and use them a lot in Patapon 1.

Patapon 2 - Guardian of Unexplored Dachara Ruins

The name of the boss is Darantula, it is the higher level of Centura. Be prepared for a stronger enemy. It drops a lot of fangs too.

Remember to bring along the Rain Miracle.

After Dachara is defeated, it will drop the Darantula Egg Lv.1

As it is a hunting stage, leave out Tatepons.

Patapon 2 - Dodonga at Dongara Ruins Lv. 7

Now that I've a full army, I decided to go back to Dodonga at Dongara Ruins to fight Dodonga again.

What's the purpose? To get the Attack Miracle. According to the guide, it says that Dodonga start dropping the Attack Miracle at Lv. 5.

I managed to get it at Lv. 7.

So far, I do not level up my basic patapons. They are all Level 1 Patapons. I'll start leveling my Yumipons when I start to have materials like Fangs.

My friend once told me to make the Yaripon that looks like a Tree, they call it the Tree-pon. I'm not sure why. But the last time I played, it seems to be good.

So, make 1 Yumipon (Tree) and then try to level it up to 10, then make a 2nd one.

Have fun! But I'm sure will need to go a few more maps before we meet with the boss that drops fangs. Alternatively, you can go to Juju Jungle or the other hunting stage to try you luck for some. The Tree minigame also drops fangs, but will use up your kachings pretty fast if you don't have a lot.

Patapon 2 - Karmen Fortress in Usso Forest Lv. 2

This time we are going back to this stage to obtain the Egg.

I'll be bringing my full army with Yaripon Hero so as to bring down the fortresses faster. Wish me luck!

There is a totem pole some where in the middle of the game. Do not go too near as it might disappear. Upon reaching, press the command and it'll start to 'wep'. I got the Rain Miracle here.

We'll have to fight till Level 5 to get the Attack Miracle. Let's fight till Level 5 before moving on.

Patapon 2 - Training: Nanjaro Hill Course

Let's try the Nanjaro Hill course now. It is made up of 3 cannons for us to practise Attack and Defence.

Stage 1 will give us the Kimpon Cap for the Mountain minigame. The other 2 gives lots of kaching , equipment and materials. We can come back for more with a stronger army later.

First, I want the minigame.

The 3 cannons will have a lot to say in the beginning. After they finish talking, I'd have to fight the first cannon. Upon defeating the cannon, it allowed me to go through to open a box which contains the Kimpon cap. The game ends here.

I can come back again for level 2 and 3 later. Now, I would want to go and clear other maps first.

Patapon 2 - Destiny on Nanjaro Hill

We are going for our first boss fight. Not really one, but u get to see a boss.

At the start of the stage, bring down the tombstone and obtain the Chaka drum. I learnt the defend command - Chaka Chaka Pata Pon.

Moving further, I see this Hero patapon under a stone. It reminds me of the Monkey God - Sun Wukong. Haha..

Go ahead to try to bring down the stone, and Dodonga will appear. Remember to use the 'defend' song. Very soon, the big stone will be eliminated and Hero will help to kill Dodonga.

I just found out that, even if your 3 patapons die, it doesn't matter. You actually don't even need to fight when Dodonga comes out.

The stone will be destroyed by Dodonga, and Hero will throw a stone at it. Dodonga then retreats and the stage ends.

Dodonga will drop Dodonga Egg Lv 1.

After we return to Patapolis, we are asked to name our Hero. I called him Hiro. My Hero!

Patapon 2 - Next Steps

After I sign the Oath, I've to tell them my name. I'm going to call it "Meoo".

After which the whole lot of prelude shit will start. I'm not going to take picture of it. Just follow the instructions and I receive the Pata drum from a Patapon that had protected it with his life.

Then I was taught to move forward using the Pata Pata Pata Pon command, and find Meden along the way.

Meden brought me to a place called Patapolis, and show me the Obelisk where we'll be doing most of our fighting and quests.

I'm also using the Patapon 2 Walkthrough by deathfisaro to guide me along. You can find his guide by googling it.

I do not copy word for word from his guide. Every word in here will be typed by me as I play the stages. And at times, I'd mention verbal advise from my friends, which I do not know where they got the information from. Thus, I'd be unable to credit the original author for it.

I have to say Patapon has been my favourite game on PSP.

I had completed or replayed Patapon 1 for at least 3 times. And I managed to load the Patapon 1 game data into Patapon 2. Recently, I purchased the Chinese version of the game too.

Although, I've not completed Patapon 2 yet. I had restarted it umpteen times. Now, a friend is asking me to start over again without the Patapon 1 game data!

Should I? And then I can start to blog about it at every stage. And let it be kind of a mini guide.

But it's not going to be a very good one as I most probably will not be utilizing the most effective army.

Bicycle

I bought a bicycle last week. I was at the bicycle shop with my brother and sister in law. They wanted to buy a bike for cycling around with the baby. So after they had chosen their bike and the shop owner was helping them to fix the baby chair on, I also looked around and saw this bike.

And in the end I bought it. It's a cheap bike. After discount, it's only $120.

I cycled it from Yishun to Bishan yesterday and was exhausted. Guess because I didn't exercise for too long a time.

This morning I went out cycling with my friends, using the Park Connector from Bishan all the way to somewhere in Kallang. As the overhead bridge there did not have the bike friendly slope beside the staircase (and cheap bikes are HEAVY!), I had to forgo the thought of going up the bridge. So, we turned and go to a coffee shop at Potong Pasir for a drink instead. After which, we used Braddell Road and headed back to Bishan.

It was raining this morning!! I think I should sell away this bike before it turns rusty. Hahaha..

Nafi says a $300-400 bike should be good enough. Hmmm.. Sounds good. That's the budget I've in my mind. Not more than $400. Hehe...

We'll use this bike for awhile first and see how. At least a better bike won't become rusty if I don't use it for a long time.

We left Singapore at 10pm on 25 Apr. The coach ride was for 10 hours. We do get toilet breaks in between but I've decided not to use the toilets after I went to the one at the Singapore Custom. I just super hate public toilets!! They stink big time!

So, for majority of the night trip, we were all fast asleep. Ocassionally, hearing the horn and coaches that travel on the other lane in opposite direction.

♥ 26 April 2010 ♥

We arrived at the jetty at about 8am in the morning. The boat to Redang will arrive at 930am. Woah! We had 1.5 hours more and there was no canteen in sight. It soon started to rain. What a way to start our trip.

The boat ride took slightly more than an hour. I had myself prepared, and took a motion sickness tablet before boarding the boat. Majority of the time, I had my eyes closed so as to reduce the effects of motion sickness. My friends all closed their eyes too!! The boat was rocking left and right!! When we open our eyes, it really look sooo scary. It's because of the rain, it caused the sea to be rougher!

Then we heard some aunties and uncles....oooooiiiiirrrrrrrkkkk.. Hahaha.. Did you guess it right? They were holding plastic bags in their hands and their faces were buried in the bags. Better close my eyes and don't look so much!

In the middle of the sea, we had to change to another boat... hmm.. so troublesome one?? Anyway, we reached the island safely and the rain has already stopped.

At the Welcome Room at Laguna Redang Resort, we had to attend a briefing. The presenter was rather funny. After which, we proceeded to the resort lobby for our Welcome Drink, and check-in.

Immediately after check-in, the first thing we do is.....EAT!! Lunch buffet is served. The food was really good.

After that, it's about 2.30pm, we decided to join the 3pm snorkelling trip. Went to rent our snorkelling gear at RM30 for each person, which consists of 1 life jacket, and 1 snorkelling goggle.

First snorkelling trip after so many years. The last time I went snorkelling was at Phuket and I didn't really enjoy myself due to the sea-sickness!! Was vomiting until my face turned green.

It is so fun!! We fed fish with bread. They'll keep swimming to us as long as we have bread. We saw many colourful fish, which I dunno how to recognize any of them.

Soon, it was time to go back. We headed to the swimming pool first to wash away the salt water on our body. Just to make sure that we were cleaner before we step into our rooms again.

We bathed and rested for awhile only!! And it's DINNER time. Buffet again..... I tried to be healthy and had a big plate of salad in front of me, so that I can keep munching on vegetables while I nom nom on other irresistable food.

After dinner, we decided to go for a walk. Lassie's brother was saying there are other resorts along the beach and we can take a long walk and take a look at the other resorts. We were happy to know that Laguna Redang Resort is one of the busier resorts. The other resorts were like so quiet.

Of course we didn't forget to take some photographs when we see anything interesting.

After the walk, we headed to the little house where 夏日摸摸茶(starring Sammi Cheng and Richie Ren) was filmed, to take some photographes. It is now a gift shop, selling many cutie stuff, toys and souvenirs.

We then called it a night as we'd have to wake up early the next morning to go for breakfast and then the 9.30am snorkelling trip.

♥ 27 April 2010 ♥

We woke up at 7.30am to get ready to go for breakfast at 8am. Arrghhh.. do we have to wake up sooo early? We are on holiday! Yes... you have to..as you need to go for the snorkelling trip at 9.30am.

As usual, it's BUFFET!

Then we were off to the jetty for the briefing. Today, we are going to the Marine Park. Again... feeding fishes. We can also take underwater photographs if we want to. Instead of getting the staff of the resort to take for us, and buying the photographs from them. We decided to rent our own underwater camera to take some underwater photographs. It costs RM100 for a day. At the end of the day, they will burn the images into a CD for us.

Ok... here we are at Marine Park. We alighted at the jetty and walked to the beach. Left our things at a table.. and off we went into the water to feed the fishes. This time, I didn't wear my life jacket, just brought it into the water with me, and used it to keep my bread above the water. Hahahaha...

I tried feeding the fish while holding on the the bread so that the fish will come nearer and eat from my hands. They were soooo fast, and one of them accidentaly bit my finger. OUCH!! Bloooood... Will sharks come? Hahahahaha..

We then swam further out and went under the jetty. The current was rather strong at times, but we managed well. It's so much better with the life jacket! We were able to quickly dive into the water and take some quick shots. We had a great time here as the water is much more clearer and less salty than the place yesterday.

Soon, it was time to go back again... for LUNCH! Oh... again.. it's buffet. Every meal is buffet, we are growing fat. But we said to ourselves, don't worry, we are burning all the calories from the snorkelling trips. Hahaha..

After lunch, what did we do again? Rest... and then of course it's another snorkelling trip. This time, the place is pretty nearby. It only took 15 minutes to arrive.

Again, we fed fish... and it's getting a little bit boring. While we were swimming, we felt like we kicked on something... YeeekS!!! I got a scare. When I took a look, I realise that the corals were there! The water is too shallow or what? For the rest of the time, I had my feet close to my body, except when I was sure the water was deep enough for me to let go of my legs.

Before the staff told us that it's 'time's up', we decided to go back up on the boat to rest. And took a little nap before everyone else came back up on the boat.. and we are all going back to the resort.. for what? Getting ready for Dinner of course!! We are having BBQ Dinner tonight. So exciting~~~

However, we were rather disappointed. The BBQ didn't have any prawns, mussels...etc. We were expecting seafood!!! Like lobsters, prawns, crabs, mussels. But what we had were beef, lamb, chicken wings....

OK.. so, after we had our dinner, we went to have a walk around.. bought some titbits and went back to our rooms to pack up for the next morning. We are coming back to Singapore!!!

♥ 28 April 2010 ♥

Next morning, after the buffet breakfast, we cleared the room and checked out. The boat ride back was very smooth, and there was no need to change boats in the middle of the sea. When we reached the jetty, the coach is already waiting for us.

We then said Good Bye to Redang and Terengganu and on the way back to Singapore.

I would said the trip was rather fun. Our coaches were very comfortable. Even with those 10-hour rides, we didn't feel too tired at all.

Catch of the Day

Everyone likes to wake me up early in the morning, including Silver.

I was sleeping soundly when I hear her meow and meow. She was walking around the room. Looks like there's a 'prize'.

I switched on the lights and see her biting something in her mouth. Occasionally, putting it on the floor and chase it around. Ah... Catch you again! Haha.. Then let go, then catch again. Seems like a lot of fun.

After a few rounds of catching, the prey seems to be dead. And it's time to feast on it. Chomp chomp chomp. Not bad.. Fresh sashimi.

That's what's left over. Hehe.. Slurp!

Gambling Cruise

My mum woke me up at 6am on Saturday to ask me to go on the cruise ship with her. Since I had slept early the night before, I didn't mind. And I also wanted to know how the place look like.

While waiting at the Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal, we had nothing better to do, so we decided to try on the Levi's sunglasses and took some photos. Mother look like one of those blind people, all she needed was a walking stick to look like one. Haha..

Let me try it on. Hehe...

We had to go on a ferry called Sea Flyte, and then travel for an hour. After that we reach some ferry terminal which I think is a ferry terminal at Batam, to change to another ferry which is slightly bigger.

After that it took about half an hour to reach the big ship which in the middle of the sea.

Once onboard, the ship crew welcomes us and say 'Good Luck'. Looks like everyone is there to gamble!

My mum wanted to change $1000 chips so that we can get back $40 each as refund for the ferry tickets. I told her not to. Just change $600 and get back $30 each.

Let's see how the outside looks like. Nothing much really.

So, as mum was gambling in the casino, I stayed at the restaurant which meals were served.

There were some buffet counters. So, during meal times, we could eat as much as we want. I didn't eat much for lunch.

After lunch, I went to walk around. Didn't take much photographs...

I was kind of walking around exploring the place. There was nothing much to do. I waited at the cafeteria with my Sony Reader keeping me company. Guess what story I'm reading. :D

At 230pm, there was some performance at the KTV lounge. So, I made my way there to take a look. The singers sang some songs and the audience was allowed to request for songs too.

Drinks were $4 a glass. And there was also a promotion of $10 for 3 glasses. I had some fruit punch.

The show ended at 4pm and the they proceeded to sell some Bingo tickets. I bought one too, just for fun. It only cost $5. In the end, I didn't win anything though.

After that, I went back to the restaurant to wait for dinner and read my ebook. One uncle thought it was a laptop. Haha... And asked me whether I was able to connect to the Internet. He wanted to bring his laptop next time if it was possible. Hahaha...

I don't think I'd go to the cruise with my mum again coz it was a full day of waiting and doing nothing. Maybe if more people (who do not gamble) go together, it'll be more fun.

One more thing, smoking is definitely not banned in all parts of the cruise. I had a hard time breathing and at the end of the day, I smelt like I fell into the ashtray.

Maybe next time, we can go on the Star Cruise. My mum can go gamble, and we can enjoy other facilities.

Learn Driving

I just enrolled myself with the driving school, to start learning driving.

I went to the centre to check how to enrol. So, I had passed my basic theory back in 1994. OMG.. That was like 16 years back? I suddenly feel so old.

Seems like the rules have also changed. We now need to enrol with the school to attend theory lessons and trial tests... Only after we pass our trial test, then we can register for the traffic police theory test... Ohhhh.. To make sure the passing rate is not too low is it?

Nonetheless, I paid $117.70 to be registered as a student. I was given a Final Theory book and a little booklet for bringing with me during practical driving lessons.

Now, let's go online to do the e-learning for theory first. And then book a date for the practice and trial test. Then once I clear that, I can book my final theory test liao.

Weight Issues

MooMooz has been putting on weight!! Weighs a lot different from since 1 year ago.

I just went to buy a white dress for attending my friend's wedding thingy in JB for end of this month. Sigh... I've to wear Size 14!! Omg..... that's like 1 size larger than last year?

I need to do something about it. During my slimmest time, I was proudly wear a Size 10. Sobzzz....

Arrrgghhh.. Ok.. more exercise.. especially for the next few weeks so that I can look better in the photos!! :)

For now.. will have very little photo taking... since the face will look much bigger.. and body fats showing... Hahaha..

And will have to eat more salad from now on... Hehehehe...

MooMooz had been busy with the opening of 4Fingers BonChon Crispy Chicken outlet at ION Orchard B4-06A.

It's not mine! but it's my bosses'!! ;) It's a great outlet... great design coz we got the best designers in town... best PR company!! Best Consultants ever!!

And.... most important of all DA BEST CHEEKEN!!

So, besides being very busy with checking emails, getting cups, trays, boxes, TRASH BAGS!... buy this and buy that.... and also forgetting to do a lot of things. Hahaha......... ddrrrrrr... I'm also very very busy with... EATING!

The chicken is irresistable... One look at it, doesn't look that special... when you start eating, you'll realise that you can eat.. 5, 10, 20.... and still craving for more!! More! More! MORE!!!

The fries is sprinkled with our very own seaweed chilli salt.... yummy.. u can see flakes of seaweed and chilli on it, but doesn't taste spicy. So, it's suitable for people who doesn't eat spicy food.

When are we going to 4Fingers again??? Sooon!!! I wish my office was just upstairs!!

Baby Full Month Party

Been a long time since I sign in to write something... First, I was lazy... Then, my blogspot posting page had this problem where all the boxes did not appear where it was supposed to be and all over the page. Maybe it was my computer... But somehow ... it's working again today. This computer really gives me a headache.

Today is baby Eliza's full month party!! For those who doesn't know who Eliza is..... she is my niece, borned 4 weeks ago.. :)

So, later I'll be heading to my brother's house for the full month party.. It's raining now.... Ahhhh... Need to go out.. but it started raining...

Not So Busy Weekend

Saturday, I went for my facial appointment and also to touch up my eyebrow embroidery…. Now I look a bit like 蜡笔小新 again. Hmmm.. The colour & scab should drop in another 2 days.. Hope it heal soon. It’s like the 3rd touch up I’m doing already.

After that I came home and finish up the 命中注定我爱你 serial. Haha.. Really funny show. Now we can think of what new shows to watch.

On Sunday, as usual, we waited for my sister and brother to come over and then we went out for lunch together. Pei Pei and her daughter, Charlene, joined us too, as they wanted to go to my bro’s place to see Snowy.

We went to a Pu Tian restaurant in Yishun for lunch, and it was yummy. Really like Pu Tian food especially the sweet yam cubes. After lunch, my sister had to go home to do work to be submitted on Monday, so, she can’t join us.

We proceeded back to bro’s house to see the cats!! Meow Meow… Snowy grew fatter and had hair growing at those patches where it was hairless. We believe it is 爱情的魔力. Haha.. Coz now there’s Munchie staying in the same house as her, she has to grow prettier. Haha..

Then after dinner, my bro suggested to bring us to the golf driving range and teach us how to play. I just swing swing a bit… and copying the moves from ‘Pangya’.. hahaha.. And my bro say.. 大姐有一点天份. Haha..

And just swing swing like this and hit a few balls, the next day, I can feel some of my muscles were sore… Sigh… So, sms-ed my boss and say I want to go on one day leave. So pai seh.. Haha..

Slept until 1pm plus then woke up… and then play some games on the computer.. so boring… then went over to bro’s house for dinner… The dinner expensive, coz I was lazy and took a taxi there for $13.25, and then took a taxi back after that… $10!

And… I should be back to work tomorrow… :) Faster clear up all the outstanding work… and have to plan for the office relocation in October… Siong..

Movie Outing

On Friday, I went to meet Chun Cheng and friends to watch Final Destination 4 in 3D.

While on the way to meet them, I saw this pushcart selling some hand-made stuff. They are all so cute. All made in Japanese fabric.

So, I decided to support and bought a tissue paper holder.. It’s hand-made one.. with 2 layers… the inner layer is a purple & white pokka dot fabric and the outside ‘a lot of apples’. They also sell little pouches, but I cannot spend too much money on such things. :D So, decided to just buy this pouch… at S$8.00. A bit expensive, but ok lah… handmade leh.. And quite cute. Next time I should sew more things on my own. Hahaha..

After that I went to meet the others for dinner and then proceed to play some 'giap wa wa' machine. Hahaha.. They didn't managed to 'giap' any wawa that night.

The Final Destination 4 was scheduled to start at 9.50pm. We had to collect a pair of special spectacles for the 3D effect. Nowadays, the special spectacles is much better than the olden days one, where the spectacles was paper.

It really gave the 3D effect a very 3D effect. For a person who does not wear glasses, the spectacles didn’t feel comfortable. Can feel that the air in front of the eyes feel warm… like not enough ventilation. Hahaha..

But nonetheless, the show was nice.. with a lot of gruesome scenes!!! Lots of blood, and flesh… and intestines, and internal organs being torn into pieces.

Ahh.. and the popcorns at Cathay Cineleisure…… is too sweet! And not as tasty as the GV one.

Something to add…before I publish.. wah!! can choose publish date wor.. hehe.. so, though it’s Monday night now.. I’ve set the publish date back to 5 Sep. Kekeke..

At Burger King

Guess what! I'm blogging at Burger King in Orchard Road now. Downloaded this blog lite software, and dun even remember it's full name now while I'm tapping away. Why tapping, not typing? Coz I'm on my iPod Touch now. Haha...

Waiting for Nafi to reach Orchard then go find his friends for dinner. So, while waiting can do some blogging lor, since I didn't update here for a long time. And also to make use of this chance to practise my 'typing' skills on the iPod. Haha... In future when I switch to the iPhone, I won't have so much problems.

Later we are going to watch Final Destination 4 in 3D wor. Hope it's going to be nice. The last time we wanted to watch Orphan but didn't. Sigh...

Friday Night Meeting

Met up with Chun Cheng & his friends on Friday night after work.. We went for dinner at The Asian Kitchen in ION Orchard. The place is so crowded. I guess the whole Orchard Road crowd is at ION Orchard. The service at The Asian Kitchen, was not as good as we wish it was. There were some hiccups during dinner. First was the fried tofu that looked darker than in the photo on the menu. Chun Cheng then asked the waitress, how come it's dark one. She immediately offered to change it. That was really good service. Then the supervisor came and asked if we want to cancel the order instead, as the oil in the kitchen is already so 'dark'. So, new tofu also will be fried so 'darkly'. Hmmm .. not that healthy isn't it? But we say, it was ok, to serve us that plate of tofu again. It tasted ok though, except that the cubes were cut too smallishly.... not much tofu taste left, except feel very crispy.

Then when we almost finish our dinner, we realised that one of the dishes has not been served yet. So, we decided to ask them to cancel the last dist that's the Xiao Bai Cai. But after we've asked the waitress to cancel the order.... another waiter came and serve use the Xiao Bai Cai after 5 minutes. We insisted that we had cancel the dish and he didn't know what to do. Then another waitress came, and we told her, we had cancelled the dish. She's the super fast one, said.. it's ok. And took back the dish. Later we saw that dish was being served to another table. Hahaha..

After that we went to walk around ION Orchard, and look see the whole place. Everywhere is crowded with people. Then, they say they are going to meet their friend Edwin, and I also joined in.

We then headed to Alley Bar for a drink. Long time didn't go there. Haha... After our drinks about 2am plus... we were ready to go home. Then we see Edwin dosing off. So... we decided to walk off quietly and took the following pictures. We then had the waiter at the bar to wake him up and told him "Your friends has left". Wakakakaka...

Diet Diet Diet

Hehehe... Talking about dieting again, but I've not really started.

I think I'm going to start a daily diet blog, or daily food journal &
exercise blog? I'm worried that it's never being updated. Why not
updated? Coz I didn't do any exercise. Hahaha..

Now, the job is to find a nice template for that blog. Since I know
what now I can email my blog to update it, it'll be a lot easier I
guess... The only thing that is lacking is that all the pictures
attached in the email is being pushed to the top of the blog. I'll
need to log in to edit the post to move the photographs.

And while I was trying to look for a diet blog template online, I
chanced upon this website called The Clutter Diet. It sounds
interesting and when I went to the website. I think that is what I
need!! I need to reduce clutter in my home too. Too many things!
Have to start giving some away soon too. Maybe let's start with my
box full of BAGS! And start giving them away.

I'll be taking photos of these bags soon and hope to post them online
and give away as soon as I can.

Ok.. for a start..... of my diet blog, I've copied down what I ate
today.

Breakfast: Soya Bean Milk (Reduced Sugar) 57 calories + 1 scoop
Tahitian Noni High Protein 80 calories. Michael (my boss from New
York) says that it's not too bad. He's here in Singapore and on a
diet too. And advises me what to eat. Hahaha..

Lunch: Margie cooked pan-friend Mackerel + stir fried french beans +
steamed rice. Michael says 'bad girl'. No oil in the fish! And no
RICE! We said... it's just for today. Hahahaha...

Dinner: Not decided yet. Let me think about it when I'm going home
tonight.

Can I eat Honey Stars for snacks? Hmmmm... It's there on my table,
but I'm not touching it yet.

Exercise: Didn't do any.... but bro say I should start the 10 minutes
workout! Hek Ho Hek Ho.. Every time say only but didn't do.

I'm still thinking of my iPhone. So many things on my mind!! Diet,
Clutter, iPhone, Savings!!!$$$ Spend spend spend.... how to save?
Starting new savings plan next month though.... which is on Aug 1.
Already informed the bank to transfer the money to that new account
monthly. Hehehe.. , just need to make sure I don't go and take and
spend. When the amount grows enough, then I can go start some
investing it. Make more money, then can buy more things, right?!?

Who on earth is Joey Yap, some might ask. He's a Feng Shui Master... Wakakakaka.... Got drop off your chairs or not? How come like a Feng Shui master one?

If not, Alan will kill me. Hehe...... (But if you see him liao you vomit, then it's not my problem. Coz he now looks very 残 one. No more like the dak dak dey photo like that liao leh. Work too much OT!..not with me hor.. hahaha.. dun 想歪.)

New Method of Blogging

Recently I found out that I can email to my blog and update it
immediately. It's so much more convenient than to log in to blogger
to blog. I can also attach pictures to it. Wah!! What a good
functionality.

Means now I can blog a lot more? Ohhh.. you guys are going to get
many many updates.... I hope! ---throughout the day!!

iPhone 3G or 3GS

I'm still thinking whether I should get the iPhone. It's a
craving.... Hehehe... And then because I'm currently not a Singtel
subscriber, I'd need to get the iPhone, get the plan, and then pay for
the plan but not using it at all.

I'll need to wait till my M1 contract ends to be able to port my
number over to Singtel. That'd be 1.5 years more!!!

So, I'm still in search of the best solution. Then my friend told me
that actually no need to get 3GS, just get 3G will do. Now we can use
the iPhone 3G to take videos too. The difference is the 3 mega pixel
camera vs the 2 mega pixel camera. And also the slower speed, which
my friend say is OK, though faster is better.

Maybe I can consider getting the iPhone 3G... which I can buy from
someone at a cheaper price without the need to sign up a new mobile
line.

I so gian the iPhone now....

For the last two days, I was thinking of changing our flat's gate to a new one. Something which Silver cannot squeeze through, looks nice and not too complicated.

Today saw this house near the office. So, quickly took a picture of it. Maybe can make something similar for my house gate. I think with all the curly things, the cat will be trapped. Hahaha..

What a Dream..

Last night I had this funny dream. Hahaha.. Maybe think too much.

I've recently bought the tickets to the BaZi Wealth Profile seminar by Joey Yap. It's happening on Aug 2, 09 at the Raffles City Convention Centre.

And then I was trying to look for another person to join us so that we can get the $88 for 2 tickets. As I had 3 persons on the list, we had to find one more. So, we've been talking about this for a long time. And finally was able to find another friend to join.

So, yesterday, we finally managed to book the tickets. And then was so happy. And I was also happily surfing Joey Yap's website and blog. Haha... Then hor.. that night dream of the Joey Yap Feng Shui seminar wor. Wah!!! Si fu appear in the dreams!! Is a good sign, right? Wakakakaka... Can buy 4D or Toto or not?

First, was dreamt of we were at the seminar.. and also chopping seats for my friends who were not here yet. So, we used an umbrella to chop 3 seats.... And got one uncle hor... very thick skinned and sat on the chair leh! Then I told him, uncle the seat is taken. He die die also didn't want to move and insisted on sitting there. Feel like kicking him and letting him fly to the exit. Hahaha..

Then we were sitting on the 2nd roll, and when Joey came out to give his speech, he was in casual tshirt and jeans. Hahaha... And the first thing he taught was, don't anyhow dig nose as and when and anywhere.. like on the street, or in office. Hahaha.... Why I dream this kind of thing? Is it the si fu know that I got dig nose?? And come to my dream and 'cheun sau' me some tips? Hehehe.. Sometimes really buay tahan. Kakaka..

It's a long dream, after that dreamt that we got the chance to visit Joey Yap's house!! In the dream it was a really big house!! The front has got full glass from floor to ceiling and can see the living room so very clearly. We saw him sitting there watching TV and eating cookie.

After that he came out of the house... and we saw him driving a pick-up. Hmmm.. is this the way rich people ah? They are rich, but they don't waste money unnecessarily. They just drive a pick-up wor.

Then I heard the cat MEOW.... My cat alarm clock has walked into the room... and wake me up. I realise it was all a dream. A funny one, and one that I can remember so clearly. Thank you si fu. I won't anyhow dig nose la... Don't worry. I got 'yi tai' one. Hahahaha....... :)

Feng Shui Tip of the Day

Nothing to write... so, let's copy and paste the Feng Shui tip that I receive in my email everyday. Hahahaha....

Ok... some updates about me before that. I've been down with flu! Since.... 29 Jun 09.. That's a grrrr-ing 11 days already. I've not yet fully recovered. My nose is blocked.

Guess it was because I shifted furniture when I was not suppose to! I'm going to shift my furniture again this weekend. And going to bring my bed back to the 'good' facing position when I slept and had less problems.

Ok.. here's today's Feng Shui tip... It's good for those friends who are planning to get married. Wish you all have a blissful marriage... and a really happy one lor... Follow the tips... and observe all Feng Shui rules. Don't do those things that you are not suppose to do. Better to believe .. than to be sorry for the rest of your life. It's important.

In observing July's holidays and celebrations, I noticed that this month is sometimes referred to 'National Unlucky Month to Get Married.' Yikes! What's a July bride and groom to do? According to the ancient principles of Feng Shui, there are five earthly elements that themselves represent a union and perfect harmony. To guarantee that your nuptials proceed 'happily ever after,' the happy couple should be sure to include a symbol of each one of these elements on the invitation list. Here's a small sampling and some examples: Tree or wood symbols such as plants, paper, flowers or anything green give life to the wedding party. Fire symbols such as candles, sconces or something red bring passion and a sensual sizzle to the affair. Earth or soil symbols like stones, sand, pebbles or anything brown bring a sense of security without having to get your guard up. Metal symbols like candlesticks, utensils or white items will leave everyone feeling strong like bull, although this is no bull. Lastly, water symbols such as streams or fountains, vases with water in them or anything black brings a lasting sense of serenity and flow; a must for any newlywed couple. I don't know whether or not you believe any of these ancient advisos, but I know that they really work. I promise. I DO!

We brought Silver to the Purrecious Cat Show on 4 July 09 to participate in the Fun Fun Cat Show. :)

It was very Fun indeed... Lots of people there and lots of cute cats too!!!

Silver got the 3rd Best Shorthair leh... Hehe.. Very happy.

And.... tada... this is the loot for the day!! A lot of Calorie Control cat food, which I gave to Munchie, coz he really need to control his calorie intake... just like me! Wakaka..
